Default New App to add city to Weather tab

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=475111
Anyone want to test it? I know some people were having problems with the old work around but maybe they'll have more luck with this.

Very cool, very nice and VERY slick! works like a charm!

Trick is that it installs to a Tools folder under Program Files. Took me a minute to figure that one out. All you have to do is type in the name of your City and type in "Add" and you're all set!

*CAREFUL* with the "SET" button. This removes all your setup citites and JUST puts the one you set it to!

I figured that one out pretty quick... hehe

Good find! much easier than weather DB Editor.

for Jim Taylor,

Check out the screenshots. I just added Murray under the Kentucky tab and then it was there... Is that how it looks on yours?

And the weather there matched what was on www.accuweather.com but didnt seem like what was really happening there... hehe...

Default Master CAB

Is there a master cab file that you need to download and install first? This one has no executable in it.

one thing that people need to realize, is that this only works when running TouchFlo3D. If you turn touchflo off and are running something different like SPB Shell or something, it wont work.
but yes, it works like a charm, adding the smallest of cities. Not always spot on with the off the beaten path cities, but it works good.

be VERY careful if installing this when running energyrom 1.6 or any of the new ROMs with the new manila... i had my weather crash when i tried to import my cities and had to uninstall it to fix the problems.

Whew... I just flashed energyrom 2.0 and keep having the same problem trying to add a new city... Always nice to see I'm not alone with a problem.

There's a simpler solution to all of this - just move to a bigger city. HTC will tell you the ones it thinks are big enough for you to live in
