I just flashed the 6.5 base rom that has been posted last night and it's pretty daggum good! The only glitches that I've found so far is that connection setup is a little flaky and I can't find a way to change the time from 24 hrs to the am pm setup. The battery life seems to be good so far. I had around 65% when I went to bed last night and woke up with it around 60%. That's not bad for me considering how bad my battery life has been. Like I said anryl's got it going on, I definitely think everyone should check it out! |

Sweet thread dude! Sorry I hijacked it a little but since you were the thread author I didn't want you to loose the credit for it, but I also wanted to throw in some more information!
Do we have anymore Tilt/TyTN II Flash Whores left here? Let's see what everyone thinks!

I didn't think the Tilt would ever get a 6.5 cooked rom. I'm using a 6.5 theme for Mobile Shell. I will try but I have never flashed a cooked rom before. Do you guys think HTC will release a stock version of the 6.5 rom for the Tilt or stop at the Diamond?

I've been waiting to try a 6.5 ROM but all I have seen listed were kitchens. I have no understanding of editing my registry.. So I have been looking for a full functioning ROM. I downloaded one for my friends Sprint Touch. He has had no problem. I tried a couple for my Tilt and they weren't complete. So if you guys know of some completed ROMs let me know I'll flash. BTW, when are the chefs gonna put some ROM pictures back up? I hate downloading ROMs not knowing what they look like. That's a big part of the allure for me since most of the programs they include I have never heard of.

I'm flashing my rom just about every other day and flipping between Josh's 6.5 and anryl's 6.5. They're both complete ready to go roms. I like different things about each one. Anryl's is cosmetically by far the best and he has opera browser working in it which is a major biggie for me. But the battery life on Josh's is unreal! and with his I can always use skyfire but I just like opera better. Besides a few small glitches in both they are very stable easy to flash roms. I think if anyone hasn't taken the time to flash yet now's gonna be about the best time. It's not hard at all, just FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!

No worries on giving you props! Where is all our Tilt People? I cannot believe how dead it has gotten. No questions at all. The Fuze Forums are really smoking, but for the life of me I don;t know where the Tilt/TyTN II people went. Cmon Guys! We miss you! LOL

The Tilt/TyTN II people are still here. The platform has been taken over by the fuze. I still think the Tilt is a great phone minus vga. Thanks for the insights on the 6.5 Roms I looking forward to flashing for the 1st time.....

Ok, I went to XDA. Can some please tell me what programs are on Anryl ROM. I've read through four threads and none of them even mentioned what was on there. When did this crap start? I thought it was required to have a listing and screenshots. I looked at Anryl, Josh, PV ROM, can't think of the 4th. I have pm the chefs. If anyone has anyone of these ROMs could you post some screens or list whats on them. I know I can add my own crap, but it makes no sense to have a ROM with stuff I don't use. I could have the ATT one for that. Hey Doug, my nephew is still in love with his phone.

Great! I'm glad he likes it and it is working for him! The only thing you can do with Chefs that don't post a lot of information about their ROM is do like I do. When I know there is a ROM I want to test out, I will flash some questionable ones that I know I may not keep, just to have a look at them. It doesn't take a lot of time. Then, I play with the questionable ROM for a few minutes and then Flash the one I had originally intended to flash to begin with. Basically, I never flash just one ROM at a time, I look at some of the least popular ones quickly before I put a permanent ROM on there.
