Thought I would share some of my Helpful Tips. These all work with a Fuze running WM6.1. Not sure about other screen sizes/OS's.

Soft Keys
-Below are the registry paths for Home Screen and TF3D Soft Keys. Also included are the paths for Manila Today Page.

-TF3D - Left Key - HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\HomeLSKPath
-TF3D - Right Key - HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\HomeRSKPath
-Today Screen (Left Key) - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112
-Today Screen (Right Key) - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\113
-MTP - Left key - HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\LSKText
-MTP - Right key - HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\RSKText

Set your Email Default Browser-HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\
: DEFBROWSER - 0 = Iris Browser / 1 = "\Storage Card\Program Files\Iris Browser\IrisBrowser.exe"
-The above sets the browser to Iris for example. You can insert and path you like.

Set your default Contact, Task & Appointment apps- Go to: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\
:MSCALENDAR - 0 = 0 Calendar / 1 = "Storage Card\Program Files\ThumbCal\ThumbCal.exe"
:MSCONTACTS - 0 = 0 Contacts / 1 = "Program Files\iContact\iContact.exe"
:MSTASKS - 0 = 0 Calendar / 1 = "Storage Card\Program Files\ThumbCal\ThumbCal.exe"
The above apps are examples. You can change to whatever you have installed.

Ringtone - No Size Limit
-Change Key: HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds - File SizeLimit from 300000 (or whatever) to 0

Clock On All Screens
-To make the Clock appear in the Title Bar on ALL Screens
-Open Clocks & Alarms, More, and check, "Display The Clock on Title Bar in all programs.

Screen Align
-When aligning screen, shift a bit to the left with taps so that the scroll bar becomes virtually wider

MMS Photo Size
-To change the size of MMS photos, go to Text Messages/Menu/MMS Options
-Under Photo Resolution, you can change from VGA up or down or use Original

Remap File Types
-To remap file types, use Total Commander. You can remap exe + icon
-Tap and hold an appropriate file and select Properties. Tap Associate Tab. Tap Associate… button and navigate to the appropriate application.
You can accept the default or change the icon file association.
-TXT, LOG, INI, HTM, HTML and XML should all map to Notepad

Delete Unwanted PIM Categories
If you have a mystery Category that appeared on your device or one that you are no longer using, you can use these steps to delete them.
-Install AgendaOne trial. Open app and go to Menu/Options/View All Options.
Select Manage Categories. Highlight a Category and tap Menu/Delete category . Category is gone.
You can remove the trial after deleting, or maybe you like the software and will decide to purchase. Your choice.

Opera
-Type opera:config in the browser to get into the Opera configuration menu

Opera Mini
-You need to load Opera Mini from the Opera website
-Navigate to m.opera.com/next using Internet Explorer to download Java file
-To create shortcut (direct path) for Opera Mini
-Under parameter, add: \windows\jbed.exe -run 6 (where 6 is the sequential # of Java apps loaded on your device-your number for Opera Mini may be higher or lower-experiment)
-You need to create your own Icon for the app

Creating Shortcuts to Folders
-To create a shortcut to a folder:
-In File Explorer, select and hold folder until popup appears
-Select copy to copy folder
-Go to destination location and select Menu/Edit/Paste Shortcut. All done

Music
-Rename album art folder (large, if there are two) to Folder.jpg and copy into folder containing that album's music files.
-To see album art in TouchFlo you need to copy the Folder.jpg file and rename it as hTC_AM_AlbumArt.jpg and add this file to the same directory.
-If you scan album art into a folder, make the file 200 x 200 pixels (about 10 to 15 KB), and in properties, make it "hidden" (Using Total Commander) so it does not show up with other photographs. Rename the files the same as described above.

Change Text Size/Weight
-Change text size - Settings/System/Screen/Text Size
C-hange Popup Menu Text Size - HKLM\System\GWE\Menu\PopFnt -Ht = 800 (Std) / 1000 (Lg) / 1100 (Finger Friendly)
-Change Popup Menu Text Weight HKLM\System\GWE\Menu\PopFnt -Wt = 400 (Std) / 700 (Bold-Easier to Read)

DIAMOND ACTION SCREEN
If you use Diamond Action Screen to quick launch new; texts, emails, tasks, appointments, notes, etc. you can tweak the settings to open custom apps. Only problem is that paths for some apps MUST be set within the \windows folder (only if trying to activate "-new" function). So create a new folder in \windows labeled Action, like; \windows\Action and drop any needed exe or other relevant files.

-To change parameters go to:
HKLM\Software\HTC\BioTouch\\ActionScreen
App0 (email)
\windows\tmail.exe
and change the parameter
-service "Hotmail" -to ""
App3 (calendar)
Param: calendar -new (leave alone)
Path: \windows\poutlook.exe to \windows\Action\ThumbCal.exe
App4 (tasks)
Param: tasks -new (leave alone)
Path: \windows\poutlook.exe to \windows\Action\ThumbCal.exe
App5 (Notes)
Param: -new (leave alone)
Path: \windows\notes.exe to \Program Files\Thumb Voice Notes\ThumbVoiceNotes.exe
a soft reset is required for changes to take effect

-Copy ThumbCal.exe, lang.en.txt, TCSubjects.txt and TCLocations.txt to Action folder
-Also move skin.ThumbCal.Black.zip into windows\Action Folder (to show black skin)
-Replace example apps with apps of your choice
